Our fondness with anything bigger spreads to many things, Bigger cars, Mega pixels, Bouncier mattress and of course Thicker milk. So does a thicker milk mean a better milk? Yes as much as more mega pixels mean better pictures. In most advanced societies milk quality is determined by protein content and bacteria count. The protein content determines the nutrition and a lower bacteria count determines how safe the milk is. Sadly in our society most of the conversation about milk is around thickness and legacy. Thickness in the milk comes from the excess fat content which is predominantly buffalo milk or milk reconstituted from buffalo milk and that has got nothing to do with the nutrition content of the milk.
